Planning an OG Party!
This year, we’re celebrating our 30th anniversary! In June, we hosted our very own Our Generation Pamper Party with cute activities, delicious treats and more. Hosting a birthday bash is one of the best ways to bring all your friends together! But what does it take to organise your very own Our Generation Party? Here’s a guide into how we planned our Pamper Event!
From organizing activities, supplies to keeping track of the guest list, there are lots of details to consider along the way. Just for our mini fans, we’ve combined all the essential tasks into an easy step-by-step guide to help everything run smoothly as the big day arrives.
Let’s get planning!
2-3 MONTHS BEFORE
There were a few basic steps to kicking off our Pamper Party Planning:
- Create a party budget! Think about the expenses from the venue, decorations, entertainment, food, to gifts.
- Theme! Create a super fun theme that your child will love. For an OG theme, we recommend a Pamper, Sleepover or Fashion Party.
- Make a guest list to determine the number of invitees and whether it’ll be friends, family, or both
- Save the date! When choosing a date and time, you may want to consider a few options to accommodate the guests and venue availability.
- Depending on your budget, book any venues, performers or photographers in advance.
1 MONTH BEFORE THE PARTY
Put aside some time to prepare the invitations and other activities:
- Are you going to make DIY invitations or order them? Why not decorate the invitations with supplies that match your party’s theme e.g for Pamper why not add face mask!
- Include the party’s date, time, location and how to RSVP!
- Plan which types of activities and games you would like. For a fashion party, how about a fun doll fashion show!
- Purchase the party supplies and decorations to turn the space into an Our Generation theme. We recommend ballons, ribbons, tablecloths & streamers in pink, purple & yellow colours!
2 TO 3 WEEKS AWAY
- Plan your party food menu (if you’re staying true to the OG party theme, how cute would it be to bring their favorite doll’s food to life! Take inspiration from the Party is Served set, Party Time desserts table, or the Oh So Sweet Cart.
- Order the birthday cake
- Scoop up the birthday gifts and items for your gift bags. Here’s an idea! Why not print off some of our OG Colouring Sheets to give to each guest?

The Birthday bash is fast approaching! Allow yourself enough time to complete your to-do list!
